Windows 10: 2005 cd want play

I have 2005 cd that will not download and play on my 8.1 windows system .. please advise

:)

 

I cannot play scrabble 2005 cd on windows 8.

I cannot play ubisoft scrabble 2005 cd on windows 8. I have run as admin and used service pack to no avail.

 

CD plays one disc incorrectly

For us to isolate the issue, we would like to clarify if you were referring to another computer when you said
"The CD plays fine elsewhere so it is OK." on your first post. If so, is it both running Windows 10 version?

To identify the exact reason why the issue is happening, we suggest playing the disc manually using the steps below:

• Type File Explorer on Cortana/Search bar, then click it.
  
• On the File Explorer window, click This PC.
• Right-click on the CD drive then, click Open.
  
  
• The music files will show up, choose a certain music to play.

Let us know if the music will respond accordingly.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.
