Windows 10: 2008 r2 pdc migrate to 2019 server

Hi team,Currently one of Ad running with 2008r2 os with forest functional level 2003 and pdc roles, We are planing to migrate to 2019 osCould you please suggest on these to proceed1. Whether is it possible to migrate ?2. What are the steps need to take ?3. Whether we need to raise forest function level to 2008 ?Any one pls suggest and share the steps and impact ?

Migration of Windows Server 2008 R2 to 2019 R2

My question to ask is, we currently have a server as PDC with a Windows 2008 R2 Standard, with this being a bit old, we want to migrate to a indows Server 2008 R2 to 2019 R2 Standard in a virtualized machine with VMWare Vsphere, my question is the following:

How can we transfer the roles and functions from said old server to the new one?

Do we have an official Microsoft manual?

From what I read in different forums, the FSMO & DNS must be transferred and the new server that also must be promoted to DC in order to carry out the transfer. Is this correct? Because we're not entirely sure...

Migration of AD and DFS from 2008 R2 to 2016

Hi all,

I have an AD in 2008 R2 server and user data like Desktop, Documents ... are saving in DFS 2008 R2 server. Now I want to migrate both AD and DFS servers to 2016. So, my question is which one I need to migrate first AD or DFS and what problems will I face
in the process of migration. Any suggestions will be helpful.
