200Mbit network slowing down to 20Mbit

    LS,
I have a 200Mbps line. I have recorded Ookla speeds up to 192. So I know my network is capable.
When the network slows down, it is on every connected device (cable or wifi)
For some reason, my network slows down to 20. I haven't found an error (soft or hard).
When I reset my Winsock catalog, it resolves my problem most of the time (80%).
I do not know anything about networks and their protocols.
Why does this occur, and how can I avoid it.

1000x thanks for your ideas and solutions.

    W

    :)

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
