Today I got update of 1607 as shown below.

Failure of feature update 1607 (Anniversary Update) ....it was showing we couldn't update the system reserved partition ...please help to solve this

I'd recommend putting your stuff on a usb flash drive then reinstalling windows.

If it’s a GPT disk, it doesn't have a system reserved partition but efi partition. On MBR disk, Windows 10 requires a 500MB system reserved partition, while 100MB in Windows 7, so you can try to extend system reserved partition.

What you got was the latest cumulative update to version 1607. While the Creators Update was released last Tuesday to the general public it is being rolled out in phases, as was 1607. This is being done to avoid a major disaster / news cycle. At the same time MS wanted your system to be patched, hence the update.

Lots of people want the latest and greatest and are willing to be on the leading edge. This also helps MS as they get early indicators. I forced one of my machines and my wife's machine got the update you received.
