    2018 account after Windows update on 11/12/21


    When choosing "Update and shut down" last night, I noticed the monitor stayed on later in the evening. When signing on to the PC, it had a main account I hadn't used in years. Could not find the account that allowed access to my current files/configuration. Today I discovered under "Updates" in settings, the latest date was 2018!!!! Obviously this won't allow me to undo the update that occurred 11/12/21. How do I get the ability to sign in under the account I've been using, if that account is not available among the three accounts in the sign-in portion? PC, not browser sign in. Than

    Windows update stuck on 10/21/2018

    I am currently running Windows 10 Ver 1803 os 17134.471 on an Acer aspire V5 x64, I noticed that Wiows update says the last time it checked for updates was 10/21/2018 so I force checked and after a while it said I am up to date with the same date (10/21/2018)
    I sis SFC and its said all ok, followed by the bat file to stop services, rename directories restart services etc and still my laptop is stuck on this date for updates, does any one have any suggestions?

    DirectX suddenly not working after quick update 21/11/2017

    Hi Daren,

    DirectX 11 or 12 is already included in Windows 10 via Windows update. Therefore, you should already have the latest version of it. For us to further isolate the issue, we would like to ask for a screenshot of the recent update that was installed.
    You can check it by following the steps below:

    • Open Settings.
    • Click Update & security.
    • Choose View installed update history under Windows update.

    In the meantime, we suggest updating the games that are not working for it to be compatible to the newly updated system. If the issue persists, kindly uninstall the game and reinstall it back if possible. (Only uninstall it, If you'll not lose any data/information
    of the game.)

    Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.
