Windows 10: 2019-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4482887)...

Last month, I started having problems with cumulative updates. So, I decided to hide the update.


It seems that the same problem is still there. When I look at the update history, this update couldn't be installed in 10 attempts.


What can I do?

So the 2019-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems won't download and I think it's jamming my fingerprint sensor as well. How do I fix this issue?

Taking Windows 10 Release Version to 17763.348

 

2019-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4482887) failed to install with error 0x800f0982

This morning, Windows Update has found:

- KB4486553, cumulative for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2, for Windows 10 1809, system x64

- KB4482887, cumulative update
for Windows10 1809 which was supposed to install 11763.348

Unfortunately, after restart, and after a long time, I saw

- update completed at 100%

- but immediately after that a blue screen with a message telling "impossible to finish updates"

"updates are cancelled"

(I am french, I do not know what is the real message in English)

- after a long time, my PC restarted, with level 17763.316, and Windows Update history shows

- error 0x800f0922 for KB4486553

- error 0x80070643 for KB4482887

--> I will run Windows Update troubleshooter, delete (or rename)

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

to force Windows Update to reload updates, and see what happens…

I hate Windows Update...
