I have been facing this issue for quite some time now.


The following update


2019-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4524100) - Error 0x80073712


always fails with the error -


Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)


I have tried many options I found in internet. But nothing has resolved this issue.


My Windows Specs

Edition Windows 10 Pro

Version 1903

OS build 18362.418

Windows 10 1903 updates included 2 Updates for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 version 1903 - WHY?

My computer's Window Specifications are: Windows 10 Home 1903 10/03/19 OS build 18365.388. I had trouble updating and used the internet for help with Windows 10 Update Assistant. 5 updates finally loaded: 1) 2019-09 Cumulative Update for
Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4524147), 2) 2019-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB452273) - ??? NEEDED, 3) 2019-09 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1903
for x64-based Systems (KB4516115), 4) 2019-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4514359) - ??? NEEDED, and 5) 2019-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4515384).
Also, when I go to uninstall updates, some are different versions: 1) Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4524147), 2) Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4520390), 3) Security Update for Adobe Flash Player, 4) Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4515871),
and 5) Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4515383) all loaded on 10/03/19. The Programs and Features has different info (Visual C ++).
