Windows 10: 2021-04 Cumulative Update KB5001330 keeps crashing PC

the 2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5001330 keeps crashing my PC.More accurately, my graphics card/driver.It's an old ATI radeon HD 4800, and ATI does not make patches anymore.Windows does not give me the right to shut down the PC anymore without installing, after which it takes me hours of trying to restore before the display crashes.So now I'm in the awkward position of turning my computer off every evening by just hitting the OFF button.Any help is welcome,thanks

2019-04 Cumulative Update KB4495667 stuck in restart to finish

My Pc runs Windows 10 Home 64 Bit v 1809

I noticed that Windows Update has had indigestion with the latest Cumulative Update (2019-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 v 1809 for x 64 bases systems KB4495667) which is stuck Requiring a restart to finish installing.

I have restarted several times with no luck.

Have also run the Trouble Shooter which could not identify the problem.

I then checked for updates in case it would offer it again, but all that was listed was 2019-02 Cumulative Update for NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 KB4486553 which has Successfully installed.

KB4495667 still refusing to do so.





I have downloaded it from from the Windows Update Catalogue ... file windows10.0-kb4495667-x64_a0713c961b994da102ee4a300d2f571ec567af20.msu

What is the safest thing to do now, do I just double click to install it?

I am no computer expert so will need easy to follow steps.

To add some clarification:
I apologize for not mentioning this before, but my first encounter with this issue was the result of reading the following MSFT article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...04#1594msgdesc

Particularly under the following summary heading:
"Lower than expected performance in games"

The article goes on to say that the originating update was OS Build 19041.906 KB5000842 dated 2021-03-29 and that it was resolved with a KIR on 2021-04-23. So that is before KB5001330 (OS Build 1904X.928).

This is my translation of the KIR scenario:
MSFT releases a Latest Cumulative Update (LCU) patch. Some of the fixes in the LCU "break" gaming graphics performance for some customers. Instead of releasing another LCU to repair the broken gaming graphics performance, MSFT decides to just roll back the fixes from the LCU that broke the gaming graphics. In the future, the KIR roll backs are supposed to be removed and replaced by a newer LCU. I can tell you that KB5001391 (1904X.962) from the Beta/Release-Preview channels didn't undo the KIR for me. So I speculate that there will be another LCU, probably in May, that might mitigate all this.
