    2021-12 .NET 6.0.1 Security Update for x64 Client KB5009191 fails to install


    Tried the NEW MS help process to try to fix but the steps have some problems -- didn't seem to download and run the troubleshooter no indication of completion if it did run. Directions for using cmd prompt don't indicate that it needs to be admin level. Directions to supply the hex error code just don't work. It needs a lot of work. In any case, couldn't get the update to work and am not sure what the state of the system is now. Nothing was done to restore its state for crypt, etc. What a mess and the update still doesn't work.

    I have 5.0.11 .NET I am also seeing the same thing 2021-09 >NET 5.0.10 Update for x64 Client (KB5006192) Failed to install on 11/4/2021 - 080070643
    also
    I have 3.1.20 .NET and windows update is trying to install 2021-07 .NET Core 3.1.17 Update for x64 Client (KB5004772) Failed to install on 11/4/2021 - 080070643

    I also hate when I can't find release notes on these "fixes" how long do you think it will take till they get this fixed?

    Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

    I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.
