Windows 10: 2021 Windows Update Causing Sound to Cut out and Stutter

Hello!!!I'm having issues with an update released this year, the problem comes and goes. However, at random my PC will freeze and all sound will cut out. I custom built this computer about 3 years ago and it has never had an issue up until this year. I couldn't tell you which update it is considering I've dealt with the problem for over 6 months now. But here are the steps I have done, Uninstall-Reinstall Audio Drivers Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic no issues CMD sfc / scannow Turned up the fan speed on my GPU no change Checked GPU & CPU temperatures on high-demanding games, still has

Sound cuts out when in game and call

Sound stuttering

I tried so many different things the last few days after giving up I came across a post on another website, someone suggested to update the wireless LAN driver.

So far I have had no stuttering of any sound be it music on itunes or netflix.

 

Fall Creator Update Causing Stuttering problem

• Does it happen if you start Windows 10 in safe mode?
• Just for testing, have you tried setting "Processor power management" to always 100%.
