Windows 10: 2022-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems KB5010386 and KB5010414...

I have clean Windows 11 installed on my laptop and everything works fine, but KB5010386 and KB5010414 fails to install all the time. Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

The 2018-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4074588) fails to complete installation. Error: 0x80240034. Any suggestion?

 

2022-02 .NET 6.0.2 Security Update for x64 Client (KB5011094)

This update is only for those running Visual Studio 2022 Preview working on .NET dev. There is currently a download error for which there is not yet a resolution, I suspect, because Microsoft has not yet had time to add it to their Update catalogue unless anyone else here has a better explanation? That link is not yet functional for manual download.

I came across the same issue when the last .NET 6x Update was released and it resolved eventually.

However, Microsoft .NET SDK 6.0.200-preview.22055.15(x64) from Visual Studio 188 KB was installed on 07/02/2022

Earlier, on 16/12/2021, Microsoft .NET SDK 6.0.101 (x64) 817 MB and Microsoft ASP.NET Core 6.0.1 - Shared Framework (x64) were installed.

If any other users of .NET 6x have any thoughts on this please comment here.

I will update this when I have successfully installed it or know more about the error if it persists. It's very early yet and no info is yet available on the internet.

Please note that .NET 6x will not install unless Visual Studio 2022 Preview is present on systems.
