Windows 10: 2022-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems KB5016616

Hi everybody,According to Windows Update on my laptop this update has downloaded OK and requires a restart............but it fails to install despite having restarted my laptop many times!I'm running Windows 10 Home Version 21H2 64-bit and I'm expecting it to update from the current OS Build 19044.1826 to OS Build 19044.1889 but no joy!Can anybody help please?Many thanksJohn

Desktop Icons missing after most recent update.

Hello,

My desktop icons and my recycle bin are no longer on my desktop. I just saved a word document and it does not save to my desktop when I save it to there.

1. How do I get my icons and recycle bin back to my desktop?
   
2. And, how I do I get documents, such as Word, to actually save to the actual Desktop when I save to my Desktop? It just saves in the Desktop folder but it is not seen on my Desktop.
   

Windows states my updates were "successfully installed." I am operating Windows 10 and (if it helps) these are the updates that were added just prior to my desktop icons disappearing after the update restart of my laptop:

But it’s not working for 21h2 version while in march-2022 its working for 20h2 version.

anyone have suggestion to get updates month wise using search syntax for install at offline systems.
