Windows 10: 2022-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 KB5017383 Failed to install multiple times...

This update will not install. I've tried installing from a new account for just this purpose, emptying out the install cache, etc., downloading the standalone installer, etc. This error occurs on multiple computers running Windows 11.What's up with this update?Thank you.

Can't install 2022-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5016629) AND (KB5016691)

It's Sept 20 and now it's the 2022-09 Cumulative Update (KB5017383) that still fails every time. I've have tried every suggested solution short of a clean windows install. This has got to be fixed. Will the new 2022H2 update even install while this one continues to fail? This is simply ridiculous.

 

2022-09 Cumulative update for Windows 11 KB5017859 fails to install with error 0x80248007

Around 24 hours after I first experienced this problem, Windows Update decided by itself to remove the Cumulative update KB5017859 and install another update, the 2022-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5017026).

This update installed fine, but I can't find the error 0x80248007 about the failed installation of the 2022-09 Cumulative update for Windows 11 KB5017859.

Now my system seems to be up-to-date with no pending or failed updates.

Nevertheless, I run the troubleshooter for Windows Update. This was the report:





I guess I don't have a problem anymore, since in the Windows Update -> Update History, there isn't any update flagged as "failed".
