    I just bought a HPEnvy LaptopPC-17-CH200 OS Windows 11 version 22H2 64 bit. It cost more than $1200, to me a LOT of money. I have tried updating the driver for the mic, done all the directions one finds online and in MS site; I have downloaded everything I regardless of its precise need. I have tried to install two separate actual mis, one a USB plug and play handheld mic, the other a brand new combination camera-microphone plug and play itrem. None of these efforts have worked. I suspect that the internal audio array Realtek mic is made for windows 10 and Windows 11 doesn't recognize it. I

    How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2 Win Update

    If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.
