Windows 10: 2023-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 failed to install but no longer shows up

Hello,I recently tried to install the following updates:1 2023-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework, 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 KB50288512 2023-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5028185 The .NET Framework update installed just fine, but Windows Update said the second one KB5028185 "failed" to install. I clicked "Retry," and I was told that it "failed" to install the update a second time. However, Windows Update now says my computer is "up to date," and it doesn't find any updates to install when I click "Check for update

how to fix 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Failed to install on ‎07/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643

When I view update history, it states:

2017-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for amd64-based Systems (KB40519630

Failed to install on ‎07/‎12/‎2017 - 0x80070643

Yet my Update Status says "Your device is up to date. Last Checked etc".

When I look in the Uninstall Updates List (KB4051963) it is there with the installed on date.

So either the Update History list has not been updated to show it has successfully installed

or it has been added to the Installed Updates list in error.

Confused as to which it may be. Any ideas please?
