    My computer is trying to install 2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 KB5030651 but it is stuck at 0% and has been this way for a couple of days. It's preventing other updates from being installed and any updates in Windows Store will not download and install either. I've tried restarting the computer it's shut down daily and I've even paused the updates and restarted them. When I did that it redownloaded it and still stalls out at 0% on the install.

    Error 0x80092004 | 2023-02 Cumulative Update for .Net Framework 3.5, 4.8, and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022729)

    The .NET Framework 4.8.1 February cumulative update, KB5022498 will not install. This is an issue only occurs after installing the .NET Framework 4.8 February cumulative update, KB5022502, then upgrading to .NET Framework 4.8.1 then scanning for updates.

    Applying the following steps will allow KB5022498to be installed:

    • Uninstall 4.8 February update (KB5022502 )
    • Run command from elevated Command Promp: dism/online /cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
    • Scan for windows update again, 4.8.1 February update (KB5022498) installs as expected.

    Did you possibly notice where I stated that we have several hundred Win10 PC's in our environment that have this issue? It will take months to clean up this mess. Can I get Bill G. to come and help?

    Or wait with hope and a prayer, that next month's version fixes this issue.
