Since several weeks, my Windows 10 Pro 64bits setup no longer updates aside from some security and other 'minor' fixes.I have in the Windows Update panel following:My current OS version as returned by winver shows Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2 OS Build 19045.3324When trying to do a sfc/scannow, following message is returned : "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."Going in the Services the Windows Modules Installer service appears Running Automatic. Restarting it or Stopping it won't affect the sfc failure.Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter returns "Troubl

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

I also can't install the latest update "2023-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems". It fails halfway through and says to Retry which I have multiple times.
