    2024 March 6th, Windows 11. How do i get rid of the yesterday, today stuff in folders


    There is a previous version of this question last year. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-get-rid-of-the-yesterday-today-stuff-in/9d36b4f8-8059-4866-9c82-c6d2697a215a That does not work anymore on my Windows 11, there is no group by available in the drop down.How to get rid of the yesterday, today stuff now?

    How do i get rid of the yesterday, today stuff in folders

    This does not work when downloading to your folders. Still stuck with the today, yesterday, etc. This is the worst, makes it harder to find what I am looking for and total garbage. How do you get rid of that setting when downloading files, because sort by does not exist when you are downloading filed. The worst. I want this garbage to end.

    How do i get rid of the yesterday, today stuff in folders

    This info is not exactly correct... Windows 11 Pro V22H2 02-Oct-22 you need to got to the Sort tab "Group By" is there BUT it only changes it for File explorer when you access it directly. If you do a "save as" ; File Explorer comes up with Today, yesterday etc. again! So bloody annoying.
