Windows 10: 20H1System will take about 3 minutes to come to Keyboard layout interface during OOBE after...

Steps to repro:

1.Flash the latest BIOS and Preload OS.

2.Launch System settings->Update&Security->Revovery->reset this PC-Get started;

3.Choose remove everyting->just remove your filesadditional settings->reset->restart automatically;

4.Waiting for about half an hour unitl boot to region select interface, select Next;

5.It take about 3 minutes to come to the keyboard layout interface;

BTWThis issue can't duplicate after PBR finished about 10minutes.

Keyboard layout


Hello,
I have Windows 10 with English interface language and German keyboard layout (ENG-DE).
Periodically the ENG-US keyboard is added (The language bar appears again), even if the US layout it is not listed in the language options (???)
At this time I have to add manually the US layout, then remove it, now the language bar disappears again.

Any idea about? Can I prevent the US layout from bein installed?

Wrong keyboard layout in login page after update to 1607

Hi,

Since the issue reoccurred after updating to anniversary update, I suggest you to reconfigure the QWERTY keyboard layout and check if the same issue persists. This is to check if the issue is with Windows 10 1607 update.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to configure the keyboard layout:

• Open Settings and click on Time and Language.
• Click on Region and Language.
• Add the Country and click on add a language and select the language of your choice.
• This will take time to download the pack.
• Once this is done, Press Windows key + Space and press Space key to choose the keyboard layout.
