Windows 10: 20H2

My laptop completed the 20H2 update a few days ago & when it came back on it was rediculously slow. I have never known any windows OS to literally work like slow motion. I left it an hour & nothing changed. I went to settings to uninstall the update & after restarting it never booted up. I left it for three hours with a black screen & a twiddly, didn't even see the manufactures logo screen. I forced in off by holding the button down in the hope it would do it's blue screen repair but to no avail. I have put the hard drive in an external case to check I had access to all my work

20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:

Clipboard history in Win 10 - 20H2

thanks for your answer. But all of your suggestions have we already tried on different machines in our domain. As I wrote in my initial post the issue did not appear when using our former Win 10 1809 image. When upgrading Inplace these machines to 20H2 the feature is keeping alive. But when we install the same machine with our 20H2 image from the scratch the Clipboard history feature isn`t available anymore and none of the suggested workarounds or patches couldn`t bring it back.

 

Missed Windows 10 Version 2004 20H2 Update

What?? There's no version like '2004 20H2'. 2004 is the update which was launched in May 2020 and 20H2 on October 2020. You may have been mistaken.

Anyway, how long has it been stuck like that?

Feature updates take a really long time to download and install because of the file's size. Therefore you should ensure that you have:

1. A fast internet connection.
   
2. Plenty of storage.
   
3. No apps running while it's downloading and installing.
