Windows 10: 24h clock format everywhere, except alarms

Since my first install, I have had my clock set to the 24h time format. However, recently I have started using the alarms app more as I started working from home. I noticed that the alarms settings are set to the 12h time format. How can I fix this as it is becoming increasingly annoying to figure out how to set an alarm for 12:16 instead of 00:16 for example.

Windows 10 showing time on lock screen and alarms in 24H, but shows regular 12h on task bar clock?

I recently finally upgraded to Windows 10. Like all my upgrades, I didn't actually upgrade, I used the license to do a clean install. It took me a couple weeks to notice, but I am now noticing that the time is being displayed on the lock screen and in the alarms app in the 24h format, But the time is in the regular 12h format on the clock on the taskbar, at the bottom right of the screen. Are there two separate time and date settings in Windows 10???

We would like to verify some information regarding your concern. Are you trying to turn off an existing alarm? If so, here are the steps on how to turn off alarm clock in Windows 10:

1. Open Start.

2. Type “alarms” into the search box.

3. Select “Alarms & Clock” from the list of results.





4. On the Alarms & Clock window, click the toggle on the right side of an existing alarm.

Open the Control Panel and, under Clock, language and region, click Change date, time or number formats.

On the Formats tab, under Date and Time Formats, follow these steps:

To change to the 24-hour format, in the Short Time drop-down list, select hh: mm and, in the Long Time drop-down list, select HH: mm: ss.

To change to the 12-hour format, in the Short Time drop-down list, select h: mm: tt and, in the Long Time drop-down list, select h: mm: ss: tt.

Click Apply and then OK.
