Windows 10: 24h2 blacked out screen and gave my mother board DRAM light

I updated to 24h2 and during the update it just blacked out and my motherboard was stuck on the orange ram light. Now shutdown is super super slow and sometimes when I reset it just stays black.

Pc will crash randomly to black screen with yellow dram light on

Occasionally my pc will crash to black screen and reboot after a few seconds. The dram light is a solid yellow. I check the qvl list and my ram isn’t on it but otherwise it runs fine and I did memtest86 and it ran fine on all 4 passes with no errors. Could it be my psu or something else? Try to get new ram? If there are any tests that I could try to run to figure this out it would be great. My bios and drivers are all up to date and I tried clearing the cmos too.

 

Mother board resolves Screen shutting down .

Hello there .

I bought a laptop called asus vivobook s14 2 months back

I have 3 issues with it

1. Laptop after using for 30 minutes screen says lock in bkue color screen and shuts down ..

2. Says \BCD file missing and went to blue screen

3. When i try to charge battry when the laptop is switched on , laptop doesnt get charged but it charges when i shutdown the laptop and charge

When i gave it to service center ,they said they had ro replace MOTHER BOARD AND BATTERY ,

If they are done will all the above be resolved

And in addition to that while inserting MOTHER BOARD. Will they install windows again 10 again or they try to use the previous version of windows????????

 

Replacing Mother Board

I need to replace my mother board. I have purchased the identical replacement. I want replace the mother board and use the same old Processor. Processor is i7 6700K and the motherboard is ASUS Z170. Is it possible to replace the Mother board without re installing
the Windows and software.
