Discus and support 2560x1440 for Windows Photo Viewer only, 4k for rest ? is it possible ? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I use a 4k tv as a monitor. When selecting the native 4k resolution everything looks great and sharp, but the saved images on my pc look very small....     I use a 4k tv as a monitor. When selecting the native 4k resolution everything looks great and sharp, but the saved images on my pc look very small. These images looked normal sized when i used 1080p resolution before. I could see all the details in the images.

    So right now i am forced to use 2560x1440 in order to make those images look somewhat normal sized. But using that non-native resolution makes everything look blurry and not as good as it is using the native 4k resolution.

    Is there any way i can make only the Windows Photo Viewer use 2560x1440 when viewing images while i have 4k selected as display resolution ? or any other solution would be of great help. Thanks.

    Replacement for photo viewer

    Win ver 19041.388

    Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

    How to get rid of raw file support in windows photo viewer?

    I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

    Replacement for photo viewer

    I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.
