Hello, I have a dell Inspiron 3000 I got an update for display last night "11-10-2022" and after I installed the updates my second screen ultrawide does not support 2650 x 1080 anymore it only goes up to 1920 x 1080.will there be any update soon to fix this issue or how can I fix it on my end? My second monitor is an LG 29-inch ultra-wide.This is what I have tried already:1. I went to Device manager and tried to roll back the update but the option is grayed out.2. I try to download another driver from intel and there was no one available it says I am up to date.Thank you for your help I hope t

  3. 3840 x 1080 resolution

Just received Samsung CHG90 monitor that can support a resolution up to 3840 x 1080 however that is not an option in my display settings. I have updated the drivers for my video card (Nvidia GeForce GT 520) 2560 x 1080 is the highest option available.
I am using an HDMI connection. Is there a setting or limitation in windows or my videocard ?

Unable to set 2560 x 1080 resolution after Windows update

    Hi Radek,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The issue could be because of outdated Graphic drivers. We can try updating the graphics drivers and check if we have the option to select the 2560 x 1080 resolution.

    Method 1: Updating drivers

You can follow the steps from the article
    Update drivers in Windows 10
    to update the drivers.

Alternatively, you can download the drivers from
    Intel
    website and install them.

If Method 1 didn’t help, follow Method 2.

    Method 2: Rollback drivers

If updating the drivers didn’t help, we can roll back the drivers. Rolling back the drivers will install the driver that was installed prior to the update, when you had the option to select 2560 x 1080 resolution. Follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
    2. Select Device manager.
    3. In Device manager, expand Display adaptors.
    4. Right click on Intel HD Graphics 6000 and select
      Properties.
    5. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
    6. Restart the computer.

    Hope it helps.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.
