  1. 2FA is disabled but Microsoft asks me for 2FA

I was going to sign in to Visual Studio 2019 with my Microsoft Account and then was prompted to use 2 Factor Auth. using the Authenticator App and I realized that it was not completely setup, meaning that Microsoft is asking for 2FA when I have not enabled mobile sign in. And to enable mobile sign in I have to sign in to my Microsoft Account this prompting me again for 2FANow I am unable to sign in using my Microsoft Account due to the fact that it asks me after entering my Password for 2FA. I asked my Organization and they said that 2FA is disabled.I could not find an appropriate category for

    :)

  2. Windows 10 asks for 2FA during login

    Hello,

I have 2 laptops joined to Azure using my outlook.com email.

My outlook.com had 2FA setup, since updating to 20h2 one of the laptops started asking for 2FA during login, second laptop doesnt do that.

Has something changed in 20h2 in terms of login? I dont want to use 2FA when accessing my laptop as it takes much longer.

Is there any way to switch this Azure authentication off without removing laptop from Azure account?

2FA is disabled but Microsoft asks me for 2FA

    Managing 2FA Trusted Devices

When I signed in after turning on 2 factor authentication, 2FA, for my Microsoft account I was prompted with an option to trust my device and avoid having to enter the 2FA code when you login to my MS account or MS apps. My questions are 1) how do you determine which of your devices are trusted and 2) how do you un-trust a device and force the use of 2FA for login. I am using Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2.
