Windows 10: 2FA not asked when I logon to my laptop

I saw a lot of unsuccessful login attempts all over the world on my account, so I decided to apply 2FA and I installed MS Authenticator.But when I logon to my laptop the one from which I lauched the MS A. installation , I log in by simply typing my password, 2FA is not applied. I think that this is because this laptop is considered a prefered device and so 2FA is not applied here, but not sure . When I go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices, my laptop is listed and when I go to the Additional Security Options in the Security tab, Two-step verification is turned on indeed.And indeed

Windows 10 asks for 2FA during login

Hello,

I have 2 laptops joined to Azure using my outlook.com email.

My outlook.com had 2FA setup, since updating to 20h2 one of the laptops started asking for 2FA during login, second laptop doesnt do that.

Has something changed in 20h2 in terms of login? I dont want to use 2FA when accessing my laptop as it takes much longer.

Is there any way to switch this Azure authentication off without removing laptop from Azure account?

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd
