  1. 2nd Display Resolution setting grayed out, Display fixed to 640x480

Hi there, asking for your help!I use my Lenovo T14 Laptop PC connected via USB-C to a docking station.Through the docking station I connect to 1 display with HDMI, and 2nd with DP adapter. This 2nd Display suddenly changed it resolution to 640x480, and the setting is grayed out.I already tried to - update driver and restart- use the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, and then changed back to the updated Intel UHD Graphics driver- disable the device and restart- uninstall the device from the system and restart- disconnect the screen, unplug it, uninstall the device from the system and restart, an

Lenovo laptop T470 connected to a monitor (or projector) via USB 3 to VGA adapter that gets 2nd display stuck at 640x480 resolution?

I have a Lenovo laptop T470, on Windows 10, connected to a monitor (or projector) via USB 3 to VGA adapter that gets either of the 2nd displays stuck at 640x480 ('640 x 480', in case someone is search for this) resolution when the laptop wakes from sleep, any ideas how to fix it?

    Some context

    1. It is not the adapter because when the machine restarts the 2nd display will go to a proper resolution of 1920 x 1080
    2. The adapter I am using is a replacement adapter that was working.
    3. The monitor works because I can use a HDMI cable which give the correct resolution on the 2nd displays [You may ask why not use HDMI all the time, in and out of conference rooms at work for meetings and not all of them have HTML, they all have VGA :/ ]

So, I don't want to have to restart every time and was wondering if there is a settings panel I can go to and restart just a process?

    Thanks for any help!

  3. Display resolution stuck on 640x480 on a fresh windows 10 installation using microsoft basic display adapter

    Hello,

Yesterday I installed a whole new fresh windows 10 installation on my Lenovo ThinkPad t460, the installation went smoothly and I barely ran into any problems. the only problem I am facing is that the resolution display is stuck on 640x480 with no option to change it since It's grayed out.

I've seen multiple threads about this issue suggesting to update the drivers or changing specific settings and none of them seem to solve my problem.

I would appreciate any further help regarding this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. 2nd Display Resolution setting grayed out, Display fixed to 640x480

I have a AOC monitor e2352phz and display resolution is locked to 640x480

I have a AOC monitor e2352phz and display resolution is locked to 640x480 and in device manager the monitor is showing as Generic Non PnP monitor.

I have recently added AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics card and the issue was observed. Earlier I had Nvidia GTX 1050 and the issue was not there I was able to use monitor in 1920x1080resolution.

Need help or suggestions to the monitor to display 1920x1080 resolution.
