Windows 10: 2nd Drive shows 100% usage

Hi, I'm a new member and hope you can help me with this problem.
Am using Windows 10 64bit with 8 gig of ram , M5A97 R2.0 m/b with Amd FX 6300 six core cpu.
1st drive western digital green 640gb with operation system
2nd drive western digital blue 2gig with tv shows.
3rd drive western digital blue 2gig with movies.

After searching the forms and trying the results my problem still exists have ran chkdsk and sfc the drives all pass.
My 2nd drive shows at 100% usage with 0 reads and 0 writes after I've started trying to ra safer files.
My system gets slower and starts to freeze, opening file explorer takes a long time before I can view files.

Can anyone suggest anything I can do or try thanks.

USB Hard Drive always at 100% Utlization

I have a seagate 3TB external USB drive, and the system monitor is always showing it at 100% usage, but no read or write activity.

Is this normal??

 

Just installed Windows 10 but, it is showing my current drive full. All space is taken by Windows folder.

Just installed windows 10 but, it is showing my current drive full all space is taken by windows folder in c drive. The whole PC does not contain any files there is nothing in the whole PC. I haven't put anything in it.

My laptop configuration is:-

I7-7 gen, 8 ddr4, 1tb hdd and amd graphics.

It is a dell laptop. Just brought 2 weeks ago.

And windows is not using my processor but using my drive 100%. When I open task manager it shows cpu usage 3% but drive usage is 100 %. It is lagging so much. Even I am unable to open task manager.

Please help.

Are you syncing any files on that disk to cloud - e.g. via Onedrive?

Note this, which appears to refer to SSDs; see if anything applies in your case.
