Windows 10: 2nd monitor TV suddenly unable to take proper screenshot and it's dimmer than usual

I noticed that my 2nd monitor was darker after restarting my PC and when I was watching a show using it. I took screenshots using snip but the image was so stretched out I'm unable to use it. I moved the video to my primary and it works. I have been sniping for awhile after win 11 upgrade and this is the 1st time it's happening.I did a windows update and the issue still persist.Monitor 2Monitor 1

2nd Monitor in Windows 10

Unlike other posts on the subject, my system partially recognises the 2nd monitor.

I was running my HD TV thru HDMI as a second monitor under Win 7.1 successfully. I upgraded to Win 10, and the system does not detect the tv. When I boot up, the windows logo appears on the TV, but after logging on I only get a blank screen. I have tried
various 2nd monitor setting, tried dectecting in the display settings and control panel, with no success. The fact that I get theWin logo suggests that whilst booting up the system is using only the BIOS settings and therefore recognising the TV. After logging
on it seems to use the windows settings.

Any suggestions?

 

Windows 10 Spring Creators update breaks 2nd monitor

I've got an Nvidia GTX-1080 card and two monitors. The primary is a 4k2k monitor (Acer B286HK) and it's working. The secondary monitor is a Sceptre 1080p monitor (no model readily visible). After the update today suddenly my monitor is not working.
I've updated to the newest NVidia drivers and still no go. I've searched on here and none of the steps have worked. Using Google I found lots of people saying that TV support was removed. My 2nd monitor is an actual monitor, so I don't think that's it either.
I've tried rolling back the video driver as suggested in another post which was unsuccessful.

How do I get my system working again without reinstalling from the Fall Creators DVD I have and completely disabling updates on my router?

If you recently updated from one version of Windows to another, it's possible that the current driver is for the previous version of Windows. For us to troubleshoot your monitor issue, we suggest performing these steps:
