Windows 10: 2nd Monitors don't working using USB-C

After spending nearly, $2500 in the store, the sales rep, of course, doesn't cover the new DPIN and/or Display Ports for video are the ONLY outputs, and softly mentioned I "may need some cables".USB-C for me - on a brand new machine / Aug of 2023, DOES NOT WORK for 2nd monitors. I had USB-C to male HDMI, USB-C to female HDMI, and evening tried to daisey-chain them together, and that didn't work.In the end, by the 3/4 trips back to the store, getting more things I didn't need, the ONLY variation left, was to go back to OLD cable, USB to J5 HDMI, as the 3 other variations didn't work. Cannot Detect 2nd monitor when using USB-C

Hello,

I have recently been using my laptop and extending my display to 1 x additional monitor thorugh HDMI, giving me 2 x displays.

I now have gotten a 2ndmonitor and and wish to connect the 2nd monitor so I have 3 x display screen.

I have done this through USB-C to HDMI Hub.

This has not detected the 3rd screen when I plug it in?

I have tried both monitors individally by plugging them directly into the HDMI in my laptop and they work fine individually.

They do NOT work when I plus into the USB-C port.

Why is my 2nd monitor no longer working?!

All I did was unplug my 2nd monitor for a second. Windows no longer recognises it. In fact it thinks my Dell monitor is just a generic pnp monitor whereas before it listed the name. The graphics card seems to work, the cables work, the monitors are on. So why does it no longer detect the 2nd monitor?!

 

External monitor through USB-C not working after 21H1 update

For me the problem has not been resolved yet. USB-C to HDMI (for 2nd monitor) still does not work (after update Windows 10 H21H1)
