Windows 10: 2nd Round, 1st didn't take

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

What does the round on the notification icon indicate?

I already have the app notification enabled!

So WHY? does it still show up?

Damned thing is there most of the time my PC is on!!

Personally, I think it is an indicator that some damned Microsoft schedule task is running becasue when IT IS PRESENT, my HDD is turning constantly.

This Win10 thing is beginning to SUCK BIG TIME!!!

BTW, the notification icoon changes from 1st to 2nd several times a morning and or afternoon, SO the round thing with dash CAN'T be “Show app notification” is disabledas you suggested.

Next MS expert ahve any ideas what the round with dash indicates?

 

2nd screen minimizes when I click the 1st screen

I have a couple of computers, both running Windows 10, both have dual monitors, pcA is vga/dvi pcB is laptop/vga. I have a custom Java app that utilizes both monitors (input data on the 1st screen, read it on the 2nd). It's not a metro app and there are no full screen settings. It just works on one Windows 10 pc and not on another Windows 10 pc.

On pcA when I open the app, it opens the second screen and I can interact with the first screen without problems.

On pcB when I open the app up, the second screen comes up and as soon as I click on ANYTHING on the first screen (my app or anything Windows related), the window on my second screen will minimize and I can not access it. I can ALT+Tab, but as soon as I click anything on the first screen again, the second one will minimize again.

I'm not what is causing this on pcB or how to replicate the problem on pcA. I'd be grateful if anyone had some suggestions or ideas on how to solve this. My app does not have any fullscreen settings or anything like that. It's a custom J2SE app, if that helps.
