Windows 10: 3.5 framework error code 0x80070424

Hey iam trying to download my childhood game FIFA 14,but is not allowing me because of this 3.5 FRAMEWORK.Basically I had it enabled but i don't know why i disabled it.Now that im trying to download it,it requires 3.5 but i can't enable it because of the error code.Someone please tell me how to fix it.Also i cant update it

OK, the Windows 10 Feature installation method should have been straightforward, but since that errored out as well, something else seems to be going on with your Windows, so wait for somebody with more experience to suggest a way out.

In the mean time, if you haven't already, you could give muchomurka's suggestion a go as well with the elevated prompt and an install media to see if it works. The following link shows the detailed steps involved.

The error code 0x80070424 you described also means "ERROR_SERVICE_DOES_NOT_EXIST". Windows Update depends on these two following services:

1) Windows Update

2) Background Intelligent Transfer (BIT)

If it happens that these services are disable or missing, you will encounter this error code. Hence, you will need to ensure that the necessary services are available and running. Here's how:

1. Click Start, type services.msc in the Start Search text area, and then click services.msc in the programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

2. Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

3. If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

4. Double-click Windows Update.

5. If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

6. Double-click Workstation.

7. If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK.

8. Close the Services window and try to install updates again.

Hello i have faced on this Error Code: 0x80070424 so how to solve that problem.
