Windows 10: 3 Monitor Setup: Monitor 2&3 Are lagging when gaming on Monitor 1

Hi,I have Win 11 23H2 x64 running on:Ryzen 9 7900x3d, RTX 2080ti, 64gb DDR5 RamThe system operates on a 3 Monitor Setup all 144hz or higher.obviously i want to use my 3 monitors while gaming so I play on main monitor and additionally watch a stream or videos on second monitor.So the entire setup is:Monitor 1: GameMonitor 2: Twitch StreamMonitor 3: Discord screenshareIn that moment, i tab into the game, both streams discord and twitch are lagging and running with 1 frame all 3 seconds. this counts for both application web browser + discord so it is not a setting in browser.I recently upgrad

Ok, so I have been trying to tackle this issue for a week now, with no success. I am trying to set up a 3 monitor setup at my church. I have a Dell Optiplex, with a 3 monitor setup graphics card. I am trying to hook up an hdtv, a projector and a monitor.

The monitor is connected dvi>adapter>displayport.

The projector is connected by VGA

The tv (larger monitor) is connected by hdmi>adapter>displayport

I can get it to recognize all 3, but it wont let me display or use 3. I want to extend 1 and 2, and mirror 1 to 3. 1 is the tv, 2 is the monitor, 3 is the projector screen.

With 3 monitor setup, I no longer have the option to "show only on 1 or 2"

Prior to 2 days ago, I was using an LG CX 55" OLED TV plus an LG Ultragear monitor setup. The Ultragear is for gaming at my desk, while the OLED is strictly for gaming in bed. With that initial setup, I was able to disable the Ultragear when I wanted to game strictly on the OLED by selecting "Show only on 2" (where at the time, #2 was the OLED and #1 was the Ultragear).

A couple of days ago, I got a second 1080p LG monitor that I'm using in portrait mode for OBS, Twitch, etc etc. With the three screen setup (where #3 is the OLED, #1 is the Ultragear and #2 is the portrait mode monitor), I somehow lost the ability to "Show only on 1 or 2." Under Multiple Displays in Display settings, all I'm offered is: "Duplicate Desktop on 1 and 2," "Duplicate Desktop on 1 and 3," and "Extend Desktop to this Display."

How do I get that "show only on" option back with a 3 display setup?

That 32' 4k monitor is the one i just ordered online and will be receiving soon.


The 2 monitors i listed... are the 2 current ones im using with my dell xps 15 9550. And yea... im using a laptop... not desktop.


Im bit confused what you mean you cannot connect a monitor to monitor. My current setup is my laptop connected to both of these monitors... one is usb-c to display port... and the other is hdmi to hdmi.


So with the 32' 4k new monitor... i would use the usb-c to display port for it. \
You can not connect a monitor to a monitor......it doesn't work that way.

It was mentioned in another forum that my laptop would work with a docking station. The thing is these docking stations are expensive. So i wanted to know if there was a cheaper way or i have to spend over 150 dollars+ for it.


I do not know if my gpu have enough power to use all 3 monitors. I do know there is no issue with my 2 monitor setup at the moment. When i say 2 monitor or 3 monitor setup... i always refer it to external monitors... I don't count the laptop screen.
