Windows 10: 3 Monitors, only able to duplicate the display on monitor 2/3 and not monitors 1/3

I have 3 screens connected to my PC, screen 1 and 2 are identical, screen 3 is a TV.Many time in the past I've been able to duplicate the desktop of screen 1 onto screen 3 but suddenly this no longer works, it just reverts the change after I click it. However, I can duplicated screen 2 onto screen 3 for some reason. I've tried changing resolutions, refresh rates and so on and nothing has worked so far

Ok, so I have been trying to tackle this issue for a week now, with no success. I am trying to set up a 3 monitor setup at my church. I have a Dell Optiplex, with a 3 monitor setup graphics card. I am trying to hook up an hdtv, a projector and a monitor.

The monitor is connected dvi>adapter>displayport.

The projector is connected by VGA

The tv (larger monitor) is connected by hdmi>adapter>displayport

I can get it to recognize all 3, but it wont let me display or use 3. I want to extend 1 and 2, and mirror 1 to 3. 1 is the tv, 2 is the monitor, 3 is the projector screen.

3 Monitor stopped working today

when I got to work and today my computer stopped working with the 2 additional monitors, I opened display settings and it detected both additional monitors but would not display anything on them. I disconnected both and when I reconnected the first on it
worked but when I connected the second they both went blank. When I opened the Display Settings it showed all 3 and then I clicked the drop box for multiple displays and the option to extend to monitor 2 and 3 is gone. I had to duplicate 1 on to 2 or 3 which
is wasting one of the monitors. Yesterday before the update I was able to 3 different monitors and today after an update that ability is gone. WHY Microsoft?

 

Can I extend Display 1 to Display 2 and duplicate Display 2 to Display 3 ?

Thank you for the reply. I found a different way and you can connect all displays with separate cables or you can have link between them if they have Displayport or Thunderbolt Daisy Chaining functionality.

Anyway this does not help duplicating an extended display but going into Intel Graphics Command Center application because my on-board video card is Intel helped me extend Display 1 to Display 2 and mirror Display 2 for Display 3.

Steps Performed:

1. Open Intel Graphics Command Center application

2. Navigate to Displays left menu item

3. Click ... for Monitor 2 and select Extend Monitor 1

4. Click ... for Monitor 3 and Mirror Monitor 2

This is all to do to have a projector show the same presentation I have on my second monitor so that I can see the notes on my primary monitor.
