Windows 10: 3 month old PC randomly crashing while gaming (Event Viewer included)

error.zip My friend recommended me to this website for posting my event viewer logs or crash dumps and having someone more tech savvy diagnose them. Thank you friends for taking the time to read this here is my zip file.

i tried to read the event viewer but there was so much stuff i had no clue where to begin.. i saw a few registry errors it seemed but what kept coming up was search indexer or windows.edb error.... No clue best to leave this one to the experts as i haven't been able to game properly for past 2-3 weeks without crashing in 5-15 mins its random..... Thanks guys for all your help!

Why is Event Viewer popping up, and why is it crashing my PC?

My PC is crashing a lot, and whenever it does, Event Viewer is popping-up.

Can somebody please explain what it is and why it's happening?

Whenever it does pop-up, my PC shuts down without me doing a thing.

*EDIT: This was previously called "Why does the Event Viewer pop-up whenever my Outlook crashes", but it's happening randomly.

10 Crashing Randomly and During Updates and File Downloads

This is a re-post from here.

I have a Windows 10 PC that I run 24/7. I have Windows Updates disabled through the Group Policy Editor. I still perform updates manually every few days. Windows Defender updates work fine. Other Windows updates cause the PC to crash, no BSOD or anything, it just turns off. I've looked for 1074, 6006, and 6008 event log files to explain why and I haven't been able to find anything.

Other times the computer just randomly crashes and also sometimes when downloading files. The symptom is the same, I check on it and find it powered down or it just shuts off while I'm using it. It boots back up fine and I see no cause listed in the event logs.

I have been through the 3 tests suggested to me on the old thread. SMART looked good, memtest ran for 33 hours for 8 passes with no errors, and prime was run for 3 hours with no errors.

I think the next step was to run V2 Log collector, that data is attached.

Any help is appreciated.

Event Viewer (MCC.exe) crashes 'System.IO.IOException'

I'm afraid this is another Windows 1903 bug (current ver 1836.175) as it is reproducible on every (?) PC.

• run Event Viewer
• click 'Create Custom View' on the right panel
• create for example a filter for System, events 6005, 6006, give it a name and save it:
  
  
• then click on the left tree "Custom Views" and an mcc.exe crash will occur *Confused reporting a IO error reading "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Event Viewer\Views\View_0.xml"
