3 PCI Devices can neither be deleted nor properly installed

I've 3 devices PCI in my Windows 11 24H2 system, that can not be installed and most likely prevent my PC from running a proper Standby or Hibernate. If I delete the devices, they are there again after rebooting or searching for new hardware. One of the devices is probably an Intel USB 3.2 xHCI host controller according to the hardware IDI have a “ROG STRIX B560-E GAMING WIFI” motherboard and have installed all the drivers that are available on the vendor's website:https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b560-e-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_download/Nevertheless, the 3 PCI devices re

  2. List of PCI devices

    Hi

My name is Lester and hopefully, this will help answer your question, there are many ways for us to check the PCI slots available on the PC, you may refer to the steps below:

    Method 1.

Press Windows key + R then type in regedit then hit OK

    Locate the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\

By that you can check PCI information.

    Method 2.

Press Windows key + R then type in dxdiag then hit OK

On the bottom click Save all information

You may save it to your desktop or anywhere, once done open the saved information to notepad.

Look for System Devices and you will see the list of PCI, on notepad you may also search for PCI by pressing CTRL+ F then type in PCI to check.

Let me know how does it goes, and we have sets of troubleshooting steps here.

  3. So I have 3 devices that aren't working (and are listed under "other devices")

    Hello,

So I have 3 devices that aren't working (and are listed under "other devices":

    PCI Device

    • PCI bus 0, device 21, function 0
    • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACC&SUBSYS_7ACC1849&REV_11\3&11583659&0&A8
    PCI Device

    • PCI bus 0, device 21, function 0
    • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACC&SUBSYS_7ACC1849&REV_11\3&11583659&0&A8
    SM Bus Controller

    • PCI bus 0, device 31, function 5
    • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AA4&SUBSYS_7AA41849&REV_11\3&11583659&0&FD
After I went on the H610M-HDV/M.2 motherboard website, downloaded the INF driver ver:10.1.19199.8340 and installed it, they moved under "system devices", but they're still stating "no drivers are installed for this device" and the last event states: Device PCI had a problem starting.

I don't really know what to do at this point, I tried updating, uninstalling and rebooting, but it all didn't work.
    I really need help.

3 PCI Devices can neither be deleted nor properly installed

    Install Diablo 3 on Linux

Just install PlayOnLinux? Why did they make step 2 and 3 of this "tutorial"?

Anyway, looking at the supported software list for PlayOnLinux, D3 is a step in the right direction. Lack of gaming is a factor for a lot of people when deciding on an OS, if more recent games get ported it may help migrate them to their preferred choice.
