Windows 10: 3 screens - only the current one being used is bright, the other two automatically dim till...

This is so frustrating.I have 3 monitors attached to my old Asus computer. All HP monitors of differing ages.Yesterday, whilst I was working, the two screen I wasn't using suddenly dimmed, but when I click across to use a dimmed screen, that lights up and the other one now becomes dim.It doesn't appear to be the adaptive brightness app it's simply if I'm not working on that screen, it dimms.I would rather all 3 screen remained bright.I've investigated all my settings, power options and brightness choices, but I can't find anything that does this to my screens.Could it be a combination of keybo

Lumia 925 automatic screen brightness dims too low

My 920 and 1020 behaves in the exact same way as your 925, i.e when the screen is set to automatic brightness the screen dims to a level that is lower than the low brightness setting when I'm in a dimly lit or dark environment. I would therefore suggest
that it is a software issue with Windows Phone and could do with rectifying via an update.

I've learned to live with it though and just set my screens brightness to low during the evening and set it to automatic during the day.

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
