Windows 10: 32GB Emmc disk running windows 10 migrate to an external SSD

Can i run the Windows Operating system on my G'daughters laptop which has a 32gb Emmc disk from an external 256GB ssd disk?.


I can plug the disk into the USB and the disk is readable but have not gone any further.


Windows updates eat into the eMMC memory


The laptop is a HP Stream 11-ak0501sa 11.6" Intel Celeron Laptop 32GB eMMC

32GB EMMC Not Visible

I recently added a 60GB SSD drive to my 32GB EMMC as the 32GB wasn't sufficient. I decided to have the OS installed on the SSD drive. The OS was installed successfully and functions without hiccup. However, the 32GB EMMC magically disappeared and I am now
left with only the SSD.

Please advise.

I recently baught Asus Eeebook E402MA with 32GB of internal non removable storage. It has provision to install an additional ssd drive in it. So i installed a 120GB SSD in it. I want to move my OS from
the 32GB eMMC to the 120GB SSD. I tried to do the same with some third party applications but it didnt really work as expected. Can anyone please help me because the 32GB eMMC is not really sufficient especially when windows tries to install updates.

I really would appreciate some help.

I find that the fixed 32GB eMMC is not sufficient especially after installing windows updates and hence i wanted to use an ssd as my primary drive. What can i do about that?
