    A friend gave me a 32gb flash drive, later some time i format it then turns to 8mb in size. What happen? is it possible to fix this and make 32gb again?

    Grey box when using "Create a recovery drive"

    I did purchase a new Flash drive 32GB formatted fat32.

    Then it worked.

    Maybe it was the formatting, maybe because it is a new flash drive totally empty.

    Prior to this I had tried with other 32GB flash drive without success.

    Thanks for the advices on imaging software. I will also give it a try, but wanted to fix this first method first.
