    32gig running out of memory with 20gig not in use.


    I have a windows 11 PC. If I run several large apps and open and close them a few times I'll eventually run out of memory. I understand the memory management intention to allow software to open faster by keeping a part of memory as a cache for recent objects but the assumption would be that if a new program needs the memory then it would take priority over previously closed apps.I've previously seen suggestions to use rammap.exe to clear out the standby memory and this does work but seems like a poor way for an operating system to work. I have rammap pinned to my task bar because I have to us

    Wasnt trying to be critical. Anyone following the Ryzen memory issues would know the next AGESA update (released this month) should add quite a few kits to the QVL lists usable in Ryzen builds. I dont enjoy gambling on memory purchases, but I'm sure you'll buy the right kit eventually.

    Thank you for updating us. We suggest that you run the Memory Diagnostics Tool, this is to check your system for memory problems. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Control Panel and type memory in the search bar.
    • Click on Diagnose computer memory problems to open it.
    • If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    HP stream wont update windows 10 , not enough memory

    To further assist you, we suggest that you run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Refer to the steps provided below:

    • On the Start screen, type memory.
    • Click Settings and then click the result Diagnose your computer's memory problems.
    • Select the option to run the tool.

    We also suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus as it consumes more memory and then try to upgrade.
