  1. 3840 x 2160 monitor no longer available after recent Windows 10 update

Did a series of large updates for Windows 10 last week and ever since then have not been able to get 3840 x 2160 resolution for my monitor. It does not even give me the option to switch to it. Have uninstalled and reinstalled graphics drivers already, so please don't suggest that. Am absolutely baffled as to why this has happened, have had this monitor for over a year and it always worked absolutely fine. Please help!

How do I set Windows 10 to view 3840 x 2160 resolution on the monitor?

My Samsung computer monitor is capable of a 3840 x 2160 resolution, but my Windows 10 pro only has a maximum monitor resolution setting of 1920 x 1080. How do I configure Windows 10 to take advantage of the 3840 x 2160 resolution that my monitor is capable
    of?

  3. Preview Pane in Windows 10 does not display correctly with 3840 x 2160 screen resolution

Since I bought a screen with 3840 x 2160 resolution, I have always had the problem that the review pane shows an enlarged picture of the document, and you cannot make it smaller. It means that the right hand side and the bottom of the document are unreadable.
I have just realised that it only happens when the resolution is set to 3840 x 2160. If I alter the resolution down to 2560 x 1440 it displays correctly. If I have it set to 3840 x 2160 it displays incorrectly on the monitor, but if I drag the image over to
my laptop screen, it displays correctly. It seems to be a windows 10 problem. Can anyone help?

3840 x 2160 monitor no longer available after recent Windows 10 update

How do I set Windows 10 to view 3840 x 2160 resolution on the monitor?

You started by suggesting I need a better graphics card, then maybe it wasn't installed correctly, now you are suggesting, maybe I don't have an input to a HDMI 2.0 port, and you are suggesting lower my refresh rate to "maybe 40Hz". My system is good-
Intel i9 7900X, 32GB RAM, Samsung 32in. CF395 monitor 3840 x 2160 resolution, EVGA 1070ti graphics card, EVGA X299 DARK motherboard. I don't think I need more speculations or guesses about problems I "may" have with my system. Windows 10 does not offer a setting
for resolution above 1920 x 1080 and what I asked is how can Windows 10 be configured to take advantage of the higher resolution my Samsung CF395 monitor is capable of. Thanks.
