  1. 3840 x2160 resolution but no 3440 x 1440

I have a new 34 inch screen ultrawide and would like to connect my laptop to it. I would like to have 3440x1440 resolution but the max resolution is 3840 x2160 but no proposal for 3440 x 1440. What should I do?

  2. Preview Pane in Windows 10 does not display correctly with 3840 x 2160 screen resolution

Since I bought a screen with 3840 x 2160 resolution, I have always had the problem that the review pane shows an enlarged picture of the document, and you cannot make it smaller. It means that the right hand side and the bottom of the document are unreadable.
I have just realised that it only happens when the resolution is set to 3840 x 2160. If I alter the resolution down to 2560 x 1440 it displays correctly. If I have it set to 3840 x 2160 it displays incorrectly on the monitor, but if I drag the image over to
my laptop screen, it displays correctly. It seems to be a windows 10 problem. Can anyone help?

  3. UHD Resolution for external monitor.....(2560 x 1440)

I have a Samsung Laptop (550P7C) the in-built Graphics Card (Intel HD Graphics 4000: Driver version, 10.18.10.5059) will not "offer" me higher resolution than 1920 x 1080.

    The laptop is capable of supporting 3840 x 2160 (I require: 2560 x 1440)

I have just purchased a ViewSonic 32" UHD Monitor, (I am a Graphic Designer) specifically for my work, and wonder if your software will operate on my laptop, bearing in mind the default firmware is set as
    1920 x 1080.....?

    Please advise. Phil

  4. 3840 x2160 resolution but no 3440 x 1440

    3840 x 1080 resolution

Just received Samsung CHG90 monitor that can support a resolution up to 3840 x 1080 however that is not an option in my display settings. I have updated the drivers for my video card (Nvidia GeForce GT 520) 2560 x 1080 is the highest option available.
I am using an HDMI connection. Is there a setting or limitation in windows or my videocard ?
