Windows 10: 3D builder closes when opening files

Discus and support 3D builder closes when opening files in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; 3D Builder opens, but when you try to load a file, any file from any directory it closes.     3D builder closes when opening files


    3D Builder opens, but when you try to load a file, any file from any directory it closes. No crash report or anything just closes

    Unable to open the files on 3D builder.

    Hi,

    I am using 3D Builder on Win10. Yesterday I opened DXF and 3DS Files normally per double-click. Today I cant open these file types anymore. Not out from the software itself and not from the Win-explorer. When I click on the file I cant chose 3D builder out
    of the list of possible software, there is also no connection as standard file type anymore.

    If I try to open the recent files out of the software itself, they are just empty and nothing is displayed.

    I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
    • Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
    • Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
