Windows 10: 3D Builder .dae files

    Unable to open the files on 3D builder.

    Hello,

    I cant chose dxf, 3ds or dae as extension for 3D builder.

    My question is, if 3D builder doenst support this extensions anymore??

    I am just getting not helpful advices at all.

    In the attached screenshot you can see the extensions I can choose for 3D builder - 2 days ago and also in the description is written that 3D Builder also supports dxf, 3ds and dae? Does 3D Builder dropped this support? If yes, why?

    Problem with 3D Builder for Windows 10

    Mppolv,

    Unfortunately, we had to remove FBX, DAE, 3DS, and DXF file support in our last release. We are investigating ways to return the support to 3D Builder in the future.

    According to our user’s guide page found
    here    , 3D Builder currently supports the following file formats:

    • 3MF
    • OBJ
    • PLY
    • STL
