Windows 10: 3rd party Mic stopped working after update.

I use a Bose Sound Comfort 3 for audio and audio in on my PC. For some reason the mic stopped working, I have gone though every available trouble shooting method I could find on google and nothing works.


Background;

My mic shows a clicking sound when i press the buttons on the inline mic housing but no audio input from my voice or tapping on it.

Other headphones work, and these ones used to work.

I have tried updating drivers and restarting everything.

I am at my wits end.


Please help.

3rd party live tiles have stopped updating

Since all Live Tiles are working fine and just that 3rd party app, I would suggest you contact the developer directly by email and request an update.

USB Mic Problems.


The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

Windows Mail and 3rd party messages

• May I know what exactly do you mean when you say "download messages from 3rd party into Windows Mail"?
• Are you referring to Mail app on Windows 10? If so, are you able to receive any send email via Mail app?

If you are facing issues with Mail app, I suggest
run the in-built Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

  Press Windows Key + X..
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  On the left pane, click on View All.
  
•
