Windows 10: 4 BSODs since Win 10 Anniversary Update

Hi,

I bought the Lenovo T460p a few months ago and since the anniversary update of Windows 10 (not 100% sure if that's the cause), I'm receiving BSODs irregularly (e.g. one yesterday, two today within 15 min).

I attached the output of the dm log collector: Attachment 97910

I also ran BlueScreenView, in case that's any help:

Several BSODs after Win10 anniversary update - potential solution

I experienced a number of BSODs after installing the Win 10 anniversary update, ie the one that broke (a lot of) Logitech webcams and also disabled video calling in Skype at least on my desktop machine. At least one BSOD came with
the same "Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled" error code as above.

I physically disconnected the webcam from the computer and since then I have not experienced any BSODS or other flaky performance. The before and after difference is clear as before I removed the webcam it had become almost impossible
to use the computer.

This information is almost certainly arriving too late for most but may be useful for a few.

dpc watchdog error requiring reboot since win 10 anniversary update

For two months, since the win 10 anniversary update was installed, my PC hasn't stayed up more than 2 1/2 days before crashing with the same DPC_WATCHDOG_RESET. I typically sleep it at night. I just updated the video driver to NVidia's 10-27 update for
Win 10. That did not help. I'd sure like to know if Microsoft is working on this so I can establish a procedure more sane than just having dozens of open windows disappear with BSOD.

 

Please remove all illegal software, re-run DM_Log_collector and post the new zip file, then we can continue looking at your problem.

 

Sorry, my bad! I removed the software, re-ran the collector and updated the zip file in the original post. I hope somebody has a hint for what is going on with these bluescreens *Smile

Latest dump indicates a problem with igdkmd64.sys

It is dated Tue Dec 15 22:22:48 2015.

You want the 2nd one which has a 7/24/2016 date.
