  1. 4 hours with microsoft support, afraid restarting will undo all the work. Focusrite Solo...

So after making some changes i knew about and a couple i didnt, I am afraid if i restart, all changes will be undone by windows update, can anybody tell me how to completely disable it besides options, and one of the three apparent group policies responsible for reenabling update. and any others anyone else knows. ive been waiting for "tier 1" support for an hour and a half. Im looking into the regedit fix, but redundancy is redundancy is redundancy. I Just want my audio interface/XLR mic to work.

  2. Focusrite Solo as USB microphone

    Hello,

So I use a Focusrite Solo and condenser microphone for my PC mic. I cannot get windows to see it as a microphone however for the purpose of voice control. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thank you,

  3. Focusrite iTrack Solo set up for Windows 10

I have a Focusrite iTrack Solo recording interface that I use for my music production. I originally used it with my MacBook Pro before it crashed and wiped itself clean of everything I had. I recently bought an HP All-in-one PC (Windows 10) and tried setting
my audio devices up to recognize the itrack solo. I get an error code (10) "This device cannot start" and I've tried uninstalling and updating drive (says the most updated drive is already available). From my understanding, the iTrack is compatible with Windows
10, but I'm having no such luck setting it up as my primary audio. Any help would be appreciated. Troubleshooting has done nothing for me so far.

Rode PodMic and Focusrite Scarlett Solo Constant static noise!

So I got my Rode PodMic when it was released probably less than a year ago and along with that, I bought the Focusrite Scarlett Solo. This happened today, I was playing online with my friends and I had to go eat breakfast and when I came back everything
was fine right, but then I moved and my computer was frozen and then it gave me the blue "your pc ran into a problem, we will restart it for your screen" it did that then I rejoined discord and btw my mic and everything was working fine before this, but my
Mic just sounded horrible and it was all static (I still could hear my self just not as clear) when I talked, I tried to mess with the settings in discord, no luck, I voice recorded myself, no luck, it sounded the same as it did in discord. The one thing is
I don't think it's an issue with my mic (as it's plugged directly into my Focusrite Scarlett solo via XLR) and when I connect my headphones wired to it and turn on direct monitor so I can hear myself it sounds perfect and just like it always has been sounding.
I think it either has to do with windows but maybe not since all the drivers and such are installed properly or it has to do with my Scarlett (USB c to USB a, but that's my only one) cable to my pc or something in my Scarlett. It also could be something in
my motherboard that's messed up but I don't think dust can just magically mess my mic up from inside my pc. My last option is to post here, I can give you any extra details if you want just comment and EVERY comment and feedback is much appreciated!
