    Hi,I've just now noticed that 441 ".exe" files with random names have appeared in the C:\ directory of my laptop. No subfolder, just C:.The names are composed of letters and numbers example: ZEVtdX5GA, are 1.074 KB in size and have been generated on 18/05/2023 in less than 1:30 hrs. Last modified dates indicate from 10:22 AM to 11:43 AM. in groups of 4-6 files with the same timeCreation dates include more files and precede the last modification by 1 to 4 minutes.They all display the generic exe file icon with the "administrator" shield on the bottom right.There weren't any signs of problem

    Two random directories appear in C Root drive and in the USER directory

    I keep getting two directories that show up in both the root of the C drive and in the User Directory. Each directory has a .MDB, .XLS, .XLSX, .JPG, .TXT, .RTF, .DOC, .DOCX, .SQL amd a .PEM file located in the directory. None of the files will open with
    the applications matching the extensions. The file names all appear to be randomized junk file names.

    I keep deleting them and they reappearing.

    Unknown file on C drive

    I see a file with an unknown name occupying about 21 percent of the drive.

    Not much help without a name.

    It appears to be in the root of C.

    Looks like a file, not a directory?

    Try another app like Tree Size Free.

    Unknown EXE

    I have discovered an unknown file in the services startup. The name is SednaTechKWK,exe by an Unknown manufacture. I googled it but nothing was found. Also tried Bing . . . nothing. I tried disabling it in MSCONFIG, however when I click Apply, the
    check reappears. I also tried deleting this file but, of course, I cannot because it is still running. This is a very suspicious file to me. It is located in the "C:/Program Files (x86)/ Common Files/ SednaTechKWK" directory (in plain sight). Does anyone
    known what this is, its purpose, etc. Should I try deleting it?
