Windows 10: 4D software fixed windows 10

There seem to be so many misconceptions with Hasp not working with Windows 10. We have the old 4D software and have given up on Viking for support. We now go directly to the Sentinel website and download the most current divers and our Hasp and 4D continue to perform perfectly. Don’t give up on your 4D software as it will continue to work as long as the Hasp (Sentinel) drivers are kept updated. Even a new update to Windows 10 can make the Hasp drivers fail to work but if this happens, just update the Hasp at their website. Good luck 4D embroidery users.

Pfaff 4D Suit software running on Windows 10 & Vista

Hi Rosemary,

The embroidery file extension you're trying to save is not supported in Windows 10. Upon researching, it was suggested to look for third-party programs that will allow you to save the said file extensions, or better yet, contact the software developer for Pfaff
4D Suite for a more established workaround.

compatability of Windows 10 with embroidery software, 4D Embroidery, in particular?

I just installed our 4D on our new Windows 10 laptop and it worked fine, but I had to upgrade the dongle driver. The current web address to download the file is: http://www.premierplusembroidery.com/en/Support/Software-Help.
Scroll down to "Other Useful Software" and click the "HASP Dongle Drivers" link. I was part way through the software installation when it prompted me to insert the
dongle, and of course it would not recognize it. So, I left the 4D installation halted and ran the dongle driver update. Then I resumed the 4D software install and it went without issues. You might try upgrading the dongle driver first, then start the 4D
installation. Hope this helps.
