    4K and 1080 Monitors problem...

I purchased a 4K monitor and also have a 1080 monitor on my system.

I have set the size of text, apps and other items in the Display options on the 4k monitor at 150% so its readable, at 100% the text is very small.

I have set the 1080 monitor at 100%.

The problem is when the 4K monitor is set to 150%, and the 1080 monitor to 100%, anything on the 1080 monitor looks a little blurred. The size of the text etc is the same as normal, just blurred.

Now when I set the 4K monitor too 100% and the 1080 monitor to 100%, anything on the 1080 monitor looks fine and sharp.

Has anyone else had this problem? if so how did the resolve the issue?

    Thanks in advance *Smile

    :)

  2. Windows display settings not recognising my 4K monitor resolution

    I have a Philips BDM4350 4K monitor.

I have a surface book with GPU and Windows 10.

I have a Mini Display Port adapter connected to a 23 Gbps 4k HDMI cable and the monitor set to HDMI 2.0.

It does not have the option for 4K in Windows setting and only allows 1080.

    Any thoughts?

  3. Multi-Monitor Setup Invisible wall

I have a three monitor setup currently. Two are 28" 4k monitors, and one is a 32" 1080 display. I have it set up so that the desktop is extended to all three. However, the 32" monitor is showing up as very small in the display settings screen. This is
causing an issue where I can only move the mouse cursor to the third display if it's in the upper third of the middle display. I did notice that setting all three to 1080 resolution solved the issue, but I was wondering if there was a way to keep my two monitors
in 4k, but still make the cursor move between all without getting hung up?

I have multiple monitors, but they have the same resolution. But, I've never tried it, but have always been told the multiple monitors with different resolutions will always cause problems.

I have had different monitor resolutions before, until I got my 4k monitor, I had a 1080 monitor and a 1280 x 1024 monitor with no problems at all.

I think the the problem lies with the changing the size of text, apps and other items to 150% on the 4k, and 100% on the 1080, as when both set to 100% it works fine (but then on the 4k monitor the text is too small to read comfortably).

It weird as some apps appear fine on the 1080, but most are blurred.

Oh well just something to put up with I suppose.
